Please double park in the paved lot, in front of my studio. Then try to use the back (next to grass) of the pea gravel lot next. (Demolition Coffee has first rights to pea gravel during their daytime opening hours).

Don't know how to play? We'll show you! There will also be a teaching time to challenge intermediate players. Meetings will take place every third Tuesday (from October through May), from 2:30-4pm at Old Towne Studio 7, in Studio #3 (the large room) 230 E. Bank St. Petersburg, VA.
All ages, skill levels, and parents are welcome to join us in playing. Parents with non-participating children are able to sit in a different room and do school work, color, or other quiet activity. We will be using chess etiquette. If you can't stay the full 2 hours, Please make it to the first hour. This is not a drop off event.
**Please sign up below so we know to expect you, but at the same time don't let not signing up, stop you from coming** This is an activity for local homeschoolers; i.e. you don't have to be a TCHE member to participate.
I will be looking for persons to help coach the club in order for our students to gain more skills, so please let me know, even if you can only help once. I also welcome other volunteers to monitor the room, even if you don't know how to play. I have room for 32 players, with the ability to grow. If we grow and desire more chess days, then lets add a second day each month!
