Melodie Ellis, REACH Membership

THANK YOU for your interest in membership with the REACH Homeschool organization.  We are a Christian organization that operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

REACH is a parent-run organization serving the NE San Antonio, Schertz, Universal City, & Cibolo areas. This means that members plan and facilitate all REACH events.  As part of the membership, you are asked to plan or help with at least 2 events every year.  By doing this, we are able to keep our costs low and affordable.

Here are just a few of the activities you will be able to participate in as a REACH Member:

  • REACH Co-Op (Academic and Elective Classes)
  • Social Events for Kids
  • Mom's Night Out
  • Graduation
  • Parties
  • Field Trips
  • and more!

New Member Registration will open again on June 1, 2020!  In order to be eligible for REACH Membership, your oldest child must be at least in Kindergarten and 5 years old by September 1st.  If you have younger children we encourage you to look for some of the amazing organizations for younger kids and come back when your child turns 5 and starts kindergarten.

We take new members on a first-come, first-serve basis. We close our membership at 100 families, so please apply ASAP if you are interested.  A waiting list will form once the membership cap is reached.

Applications are submitted on the website.  The application will be live on June 1, so please check back then.

Click the  "Request Membership in REACH"

link in the top right corner of the screen, complete the information and submit.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your application has been received.  After review, you will be notified by a member of the REACH Executive Board as to your status.

REACH Co-op participation is not a mandatory part of membership but can be a wonderful benefit for you and your family.

  • In order to participate in co-op, your oldest child MUST be at least in the 3rd grade (8 years old by September 1st).
  • 16 week semesters
  • Academic and Elective Courses available - choose what works best for your family
  • All members are background checked to ensure that all REACH facilitated events are safe for everyone.

REACH Co-Op has always been a volunteer run organization. We will continue to welcome professionally taught classes here at REACH but many of our parents and kids still want or need other options for various reasons. It is important to keep in mind classes for all ages. REACH currently owns some curriculum and many already have lesson plans prepared.

What class ideas can you bring to REACH? We'd love to showcase some more of our awesome parents' talent!
