PCHEA welcomes new members any time of the year! To become a member, simply click here and fill out the registration form. Our membership year runs from the month you join for one full year. After each year, you will receive a membership renewal in the month you joined. You will have 30 days to pay your membership dues before you are parked in the website.
In order to ensure that you receive email from us regarding your membership, please go directly to your webmail's address book and add: email@example.com
Payment is via PayPal (you can use your PayPal account OR any credit/debit card). If we don't receive your payment within 30 days, your application will be deleted and you will need to reapply. If you have been a PCHEA member in the past and did not renew your membership during the last cycle, please follow the same process.
Please note-membership processing is not automated. We manually process membership-if for some reason you don't receive an approval notice from us within 7 days, please send us an email. We appreciate your patience as we homeschool our own children.
If you are unable to afford the $30 annual membership fee, you may apply for financial assistance by filling out our Financial Assistance Form, and a board member will contact you after the next board meeting (within 4 weeks). If you are approved for financial assistance, PCHEA asks that you give back by donating a little of your time to one PCHEA event for the current school year.
By joining PCHEA, you certify that you are home educating your children in a bona fide manner that meets the requirements of state law.
Membership is not available to businesses or individuals whose interest is advertising and promoting services and products to homeschoolers. However, we will consider promoting products and services that provide enriching educational or extracurricular opportunity for homeschool families in the Texas Panhandle. If an educational or extracurricular opportunity is not based in the Texas Panhandle, it must be connected with THSC or HSLDA. If your product or service satisfies these criteria, you may email us with your request.
