Does your kid love history? Do they love doing projects? Enter them into the annual PCHEA History Fair to show off their skills and knowledge. This is a 2 hour event at the Southwest Amarillo Public Library from 1pm-3pm. We have a divided room where one half will be the presentations and judging, and the other half will be fun games to entertain the students who are waiting to present their projects.

This is for grades 3rd-12th.

To participate in the PCHEA History Fair, you will research a historical topic, person, or event, then present your work in the form of an exhibit and presentation to 3 judges.

The most important rewards are the skills and knowledge that you will acquire as you create your History Day project.

An exhibit is a three-dimensional physical and visual representation of your historical argument, research, and interpretation of your topic, person or event in history.

Exhibits: exhibit size mst be no larger that 40" wide, 30" deep and 6' high. It must include any combination of photos, research paper, artwork, 3-D models, artifacts, etc. Students may dress in costumes to present their exhibit.
