Service Task Job Descriptions

FIELD TRIPS:

Field Trip Coordinator – Person in charge of the Field Trip Team, planning out calendar of all field trips and responsible in submitting them to Member Services Coordinator through the website.


SPECIAL EVENTS:

Valentine’s Day Party Coordinator – Person in charge of the Valentine’s Day Party, planning the event details such as: date, reserving location, etc. Person is responsible for submitting event details to the Social Events Coordinator.

Valentine’s Day Party Team – Planning event details (crafts, games, food), organizing and serving at the event (great for new members!)

Easter Party Coordinator – Person in charge of the Easter Party, planning the event details such as: date, reserving location, etc. Person is responsible for submitting event details to the Social Events Coordinator.

Easter Party Team – Planning event details (egg hunt, games, food), organizing and serving at the event (great for new members!)

Field Day Coordinator – Person in charge of organizing and planning the schedule of events for Field Day as well as organizing a team of volunteers for Field Day.

Middle School/High School Socials Team – In charge of organizing and planning the MS/HS socials throughout the school year, including the ice cream social, bonfire, Christmas party, games nights and more. Includes finding locations, organizing food, events, volunteers as well as cleaning up after the event. 

Spring Showcase CoordinatorPerson in charge of the Spring Showcase, planning the event details such as: date, reserving location, overseeing project collection, and coordinating Talent show portion. Person is responsible for submitting event details to the Member Services Coordinator.

Spring Showcase Team – Helping with event details such as planning, organizing, and displaying the Art and Scholastic portion of the Spring Showcase, helping with day of event and Talent organization.


PARK DAYS:

Park Day Team – Attending Park Days, to be present during the hours of 1-4pm (can be put on rotation and into shifts) and make sure the pavilion has been left in a better condition than in which we found it and helping the Member Services Coordinator in above duties. (great for new members!)


GRADUATIONS:

Senior Graduation Coordinator – Person in charge of coordinating and organizing the Senior Graduation as well as the team for Senior Graduation.

Senior Graduation Team - Assisting the Senior Graduation Coordinator in planning, organizing, set-up and decorating for the Senior Graduation.  

Senior Graduation Reception Coordinator – Person in charge of coordinating and organizing the Senior Graduation Reception, as well as the team for the Reception (typically the parent of a junior).

Kindergarten Graduation Coordinator – Person in charge of coordinating and organizing the Kindergarten Graduation as well as the team for Kindergarten Graduation

Kindergarten Graduation Team – Organizing, planning the event details and serving at the Kindergarten Graduation event (great for new members!)


PARENT SUPPORT:

New to Homeschool Meeting Coordinator – Assist with public meetings 2x per year, typically in April and December. Offer hospitality by serving refreshments and greeting attendees. Provide support by attending meeting and being available to answer questions asked by attendees interested in learning more about homeschooling.

Mom’s Christmas Party Coordinator – Coordinate annual Mom’s Christmas Party held in early December. Lead team in planning all aspects of the event such as choosing a date, location, menu, decorations, and gift exchange.

Mom’s Christmas Party Team – Assist coordinator in planning annual Mom’s Christmas Party. Help to plan and execute all aspects of the event such as choosing a date, location, menu, decorations, and gift exchange. (great for new members!)

Homeschooling Through High School Coordinator – Assist with public meeting “Homeschooling Through High School” each year, typically in late spring. Offer hospitality by serving refreshments and greeting attendees. Provide support by attending meeting and being available to answer questions asked by attendees interested in learning more about homeschooling through high school.

Mom’s Coffee and Chat Coordinator – Coordinate the planning and location of the mom's get-together. 


KID ENTREPRENEUR CHRISTMAS MARKETPLACE:

Kid Entrepreneur Christmas Marketplace Coordinator - The marketplace is an event where kids can promote and sell products that they have created at home.  The coordinator is in charge of planning the event details such as: date, reserving location, coordinating with kid vendors, etc. Person is responsible for submitting event details to the Member Services Coordinator.

Kid Entrepreneur Christmas Marketplace Team - Organizing, advertising, planning the event details and serving at the Christmas Marketplace event (great for new members!)


TESTING:

Standardized Testing Organizer – Person in charge of standardized testing which includes ordering the tests, the sign-ups, finding a location and getting test proctors for the test days.

Standardized Testing Team – Test proctors are needed for test days to sit in the classrooms and administer the tests to the students. 


YEARBOOK:

Yearbook Coordinator – Person in charge of creating and ordering the yearbook each year. Must plan, create, gather photos, and design the yearbook. Also in charge of ordering and delivering the yearbooks to the members.

Yearbook Team – Assiting the Yearbook Coordinator is designing layouts, organizing the photos, and helping create the yearbook pages.
