SESSIONS

Start With the End in MindCarrie De Francisco
Before we buy one box of curriculum, before we sign up for any classes, and before we crack open any book, we should spend time on our knees prayerfully crafting our Homeschool Mission Statement. Our Homeschool Mission Statement is what guides every decision we make, keeps us on track, and helps us end our homeschooling journey well. Learn how to craft your own homeschool mission statement and cast a vision for your family’s homeschooling journey. Tips will also be given on how to use your Mission Statement to organize and plan your school year, how to refer to it often during the school year, how to use it on those really bad days, and how to revisit it at the end of the year to end strong.

Spirit-Led Schooling; Making Time for the MasterZsanae Miller
As parents, we take great care to ensure our children have the right curriculum, co-op classes, and extracurricular activities. We desire for our children to grow in knowledge, succeed, and thrive throughout the school year. All of these decisions need to be God-led. Join us as we walk through the importance of making time to be with our Master. Learn practical ways to be prepared for the day ahead with your children. We will share helpful resources and tools to help you along your journey.

Field Trips: When Book Work Meets the Real WorldPenny Ross
Are field trips
     a)  opportunities to get out of your house
     b)  extracurricular enrichment activities
     c)  integral parts of your regular academic studies

They can be ALL of the above!  We’ll discuss different ways to incorporate field trips into all aspects of your family’s learning and how to find great places to visit.
