‘Christian Homes Organized In Cooperative Engagement’
C.H.O.I.C.E. (Christian Homes Organized in Cooperative Engagement) is a Christ-centered, faith-based cooperative among a group of parents which provides their children with enrichment meetings led by mentors. All enrichment meetings will reflect a Christian perspective that honor our Lord Jesus and support our Statement of Faith. C.H.O.I.C.E. offers opportunities for fellowship and growing in faith among the participating families and mentors. C.H.O.I.C.E. exists to bring honor and glory to our Heavenly Father and for the building and strengthening of His Kingdom. We meet weekly on Mondays at Gateway Baptist Church in Newburgh. Our group provides classes for students ages 3 yrs. - High School. We have two sessions per year (Fall and Spring). Our classes run for 12 weeks per session. Some of the classes that were offered this past spring included: Dance, Arts, Music, Stage Skills, Science, Spanish, Speech, and Computer just to name a few. These are just some of the general types of classes we have offered previously, so please download our complete new schedule and class descriptions on the link at the bottom of this page as it becomes available. Our list of classes changes each session with some classes repeating or continuing, and some completely new classes. At the end of each session we have a program / reception for the children to invite family and friends so they can showcase their hard work and accomplishments.
You may sign up for as many or as few classes as you wish. Some families are at the co-op most of the day (9:00am–4:00pm), while others just come for one or two classes. We offer a Lunch and Play/Open Gym time for fellowship and fun which the children really enjoy. Parents are not required to help with classes, but are asked to stay on the premises while their children are in classes for liability purposes. For the parents and their younger siblings; we have a fellowship room available, a quiet room for studying, nursing babies, etc. We believe that co-op’s are a great opportunity for children and parents both to form bonds and friendships among others with similar values and interests while adding specialized learning to your home curriculum.
All the glory to Him,
