Meet Our Teachers

Preschool Mrs. Robin Hatton and Mrs. Linnea Reynolds

Stepping Stones Mrs. Angela Hohmann and Mrs. Gina Archambault

Mrs. Hohmann lives in St. Paul with her high school love and 4 children (ages 4-11). She studied Psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy at Northwestern University. She has a desire to help all children love to learn and understand their individual intelligence and their individual value as people who are able accomplish wonderful things through education. She spent 10 year on staff volunteering for Kids Against Hunger and has taught countless piano lessons to neighborhood children and family members. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, music, cooking, being with her friends and family and wandering through God’s good nature.

Mrs. Archambault has a K-8 Minnesota Teaching License which she keeps current with continuing education. She has a B.S. from the College of St. Catherine along with a Specialty in Language Arts, Literature, and Communications. Gina thoroughly enjoyed teaching elementary school for 7 years before becoming a stay at home mom and homeschooling her 3 boys. She loves to play soccer, broomball and help coach her kids' baseball teams. She enjoys making healthy meals with the vegetables from her garden and camping with her family. Most of all she has a passion for helping kids flourish.

Literary Analysis Mrs. Mary Wheatley

Mrs. Wheatley graduated from Bethel College with degrees in Biology and Psychology. After spending time injecting and mutating fish and using fluorescent microscopy at the U of M, she moved on to studying the physical manifestation of abnormal psychology through fMRI at the U of Chicago. She chose to stay at home when her first son was born and now has three children whom she homeschools. In addition, Mrs. Wheatley cares for an almost 2-year-old girl and soon another daycare baby. She and her husband and kids live in Cokato where they enjoy shooting off rockets and playing board games.

Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) / Civics: Exploring Citizenship Mrs. Lolene Love

Mrs. Love has taught her four children, currently ages 11-19, for all of their school years. She graduated from Cornell University (in Ithaca, NY) with a degree in anatomy and physiology. During her childhood, she loved grammar but hated writing, which is why she loves the materials from the Institute for Excellence in Writing. The materials guide reluctant writers in learning how to express themselves. Mrs. Love has taught group IEW writing classes to a variety of ages for four years.

Robotics STEAM Science and Robotics Team Members

The goal of STEAM Science and Robotics is to provide girls and boys the tools, guidance, education, and dynamic environment to develop their skills and interest in engineering and technology through hands-on learning tools and programs.

Beginner Spanish/Spanish Development Mrs. Patricia Demopoulos

Mrs. Demopoulos was born in Colombia, South America and raised in a bi-lingual family. She has taught Castilian Spanish and Language Arts for thirteen years for K-8th grades. She is blessed with a wonderful husband, two children and three grandchildren. The gift of teaching from our Lord and the joy it brings is complete! She relishes the gleam in student’s eyes when they exhibit the “joy of learning.”

Talkative Tidbits / Speech Mrs. Sarah Druley

Mrs. Druley is a homeschool mom of three girls. She is certified as both a sign language interpreter and cued language transliterator. She is the president of the Cued Speech Association of Minnesota. She teaches workshops in a variety of topic areas for individuals to grow in their skill development and communication fluency. She enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with friends.
