SDCH had a Quest club for several years and would like to start one again this year.  Families will register on their own, but we'll meet one time a month and do badge activities together.  You can also do them on your own.  Come to the first meeting to see if you like it, then you'll want to sign up with Quest for a Homeschool Membership--$39.99/year for your whole family. This is for boys and girls, 4 yrs through high school.  (Actually  for adults, too!)   The activities are arranged so all ages can work on the same subject, at their learning level, so it's great if you have several kids.

If you're interested please sign up or contact me, so I'll know how many to plan for and if anyone is coming.  I'm making a stab in the dark on the time/day.  If you're interested but this doesn't work for your family let me know and we'll figure it out.  We hope to be able to meet in person, if that isn't possible this month we'll meet on Jitsi and hope for better soon.

This month we'll work on the Animals Around the World Badge. https://questclubs.com/2130-2/

We’re working on this badge because this time of year is World Animal Day and the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. He lived in Italy around 1200 and is remembered for his love for animals and nature. In October some children bring their pets to church to be blessed because of his love for animals. People may also plan a nature walk and or spend time helping children write about plants, insects and animals that they see. We can teach children about endangered animals and what can be done to help save them.

This will be a Quest Club meeting, come see if you’d like it!
