- Some kids thrive on a workbook approach--others need the textbook.
- Some learn words they encounter in their reading--others need a systematic phonics approach.
- Some kids are natural spellers--others struggle for various reasons including brain differences.
- And then there is the mom factor--how much time can you devote to teaching spelling? Some programs require more "mom time" than others.
