CHC Fall Kick-off Picnic
CHC Fall Kick-off Picnic & Boating
When: Thursday, August 22, 5 - 8 pm
Where: Beautiful Lake of the Woods in Mahomet at the Lake of the Woods Pavillion (near the lake and the boat rentals). This building has both AC and restrooms and is ADA accessible!
Who: The whole family is welcome! This a great time to connect with your fellow homeschoolers as well as Family Center teachers.
What to Bring: CHC is providing a main dish (including a gluten-free option!) & drinks, please bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.
Cost: Free!
Evening Schedule:
- 5 - 6 pm: Mingle and help set up tables and chairs
- 6 pm: Introductions, prayer & start of meal
- 6 - 8pm: Chat, mingle & play lawn games.
- 8 - 8:30pm: For those who are able, please help wipe down and take down tables & chairs
Please sign up all members of your family who are attending to help us provide the correct amount of food.
Please bring lawn games for your family and others.
