Statement of Faith

  • We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternal. (John 10:30; I John 5:7)
  • We believe the Holy Bible to be the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born to the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scripture, was buried, and rose from the grave on the third day to save us from destruction. (John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:21-23; I John 5:20)
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost and can be saved only by the free gift of salvation, given by God’s grace, and received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. (Genesis 1:27, 9:6; Romans 3:23, 5:12; Ephesians 2:1; I Peter 3:18; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 1:16; John 14:6)
  • We believe in the imminent return of the Lord, which is the “blessed hope” of the Bride of Christ. (Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:1-10; Matthew 24: 21, 29-30, 25:31)
  • We believe the Holy Spirit is given to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. (I Peter 1:15-16; Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 10: 24-25; Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15; Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:12-14)
  • We believe that God has given parents the responsibility for their own children’s education. (Deut. 6:6-8; Ephesians 6:4; Proverbs 22:6)
  • We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people; following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
