Who are we?

We have been in existence for 19 years. We began with a couple of families with young kids wanting to support each other along their homeschooling journey. We remain a small co-op that seeks to honor God through Biblical teaching and a Biblical worldview.

A:

We meet September through May once a week in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Q:

A little more info...

A:

We are a group of families united by our mutual faith in Christ Jesus and our desire to educate our children in a way we believe He has called us. We envision co-op as a place where we can encourage and support each other in our homeschool endeavors. While CoYoTE classes usually include “core” subjects, they are meant to complement education occurring within the home, not provide a “complete education”. However, we do not consider classes to be “enrichment” only. Therefore, we ask that teachers take seriously the commitment to provide a content-rich and comprehensive class experience, which usually includes homework assignments, and ask each member family to be equally committed to fulfilling the expectations of each class. At the same time, we understand that few of us are “professional” teachers, our children are at different levels of education and spiritual development, and sometimes real life happens. Therefore, we strive to always deal with each other Biblically and seek to extend grace without compromising the inherent mission of CoYoTE.
