The Voice of Home Educators in Lancaster County
The Scrawls is a newsletter published by CHALC. It contains news of interest to the Lancaster homeschooling community, such as upcoming events, classes being offered, CHALC homeschool group activities, items for sale, local homeschool evaluators, and more. The Scrawls newsletter is included with your CHALC homeschool group membership.

Homeschool Group members will receive The Scrawls digital edition with their paid membership fee. If you are not part of a CHALC homeschool group, you may access the newsletter on the CHALC website.

Submissions:
Free events of special interest to homeschoolers as well as free resources are published for free! Tell us about an interesting field trip you've taken recently, submit a helpful educational web address, share your suggestions and encouragement for homeschoolers, tell us stories from your own experience, or share a project you're working on. We love to hear from you! Have any ideas? Email the editor at scrawls@chalc.org.

Ads can be in the form of a .pdf or .jpg.saved at 300ppi or the "Press or Professional Print Setting".
Pencil ads and drawings will not be accepted as camera ready.
CHALC requests that all submissions be sent via email to scrawls@chalc.org
Due to the possibility of error, submissions will not be taken over the phone. Items must be received no later than the 10th of the month unless the editor extended your deadline.
Unless you are a 10-for-9 Sale participant, items will not be carried to the next month. You will need to resubmit the item if you wish for it to be published multiple times. We reserve the right to edit and/or refuse any submissions. Unfortunately, due to space constraints, not all submissions can be published.
