Hi everyone!
IOWA Standardized Testing is being offered to homeschoolers this spring! The dates are May 21, 22, and 23, and the location is Fellowship Community Church in Mt. Laurel. Please see Testing Forum for helpful documents covering test preparation and FAQ's...
**This is open to any local homeschoolers who wish to participate. Please feel free to place this notice on other non-LW sites.

(COST OF TEST IS NON-REFUNDABLE)
Tests will cost around $50, for the first student. We will have a definite price once we get cost confirmation from the testing company and all the families are registered. (Test form E also available through Triangle Educators for $75.00 to be taken online.)The amount includes the price of the test, a building fee cost which will be divided between the number of families that will be participating, and postage fees. It all depends on how many families sign up. The actual cost per student/family will depend on how many students sign up for testing and will be determined at a later date.
Tests for additional students within the same family will be lower.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
STEP #1: Read through the attachment titled "IOWA Testing FAQ." This will answer any
questions you may have regarding the test itself. It will also help you in determining what grade level to have your child tested in.
STEP #2: Go to the Living Water Home Educators website. Go to May 21, 2019 on the calendar to sign-up and carefully complete ALL the information requested. Testing is available only for grades 3 through High School.

(Kindergarten through 2nd grade are read-aloud tests and are not bring offered this year due to difficulty finding enough proctors for testing.)

Please check your calendars/plan carefully. Once your test has been ordered we will not be able to return it for a refund.
Please note that orders WILL NOT be received after April 1st. Once we have received all the orders, we will inform you of the total fee amount. You will be contacted about whom to mail your payment to at that time.
STEP #3: To help prepare your child for testing, please read through the attachment "Preparing child for IOWA Testing."
STEP #4: Be on the lookout for future emails regarding IOWA Testing.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In order to provide testing, we need proctors! The only requirement to administer the IOWA tests is for someone to have a Bachelor's degree. If you are willing to serve in this manner, please indicate so when you sign-up online.
Lastly, please note that parents and children who are not taking the test will not be able to stay in the building while testing is taking place. You will need to drop your child(ren) off and return at the designated time to pick them up.
*Please note all test results will be emailed to each participant. There will be no hard copies mailed out. (The testing company will calculate the results and email them to us. We will then email them to each family individually. Once the family indicates that they have downloaded the results themselves, their file will be deleted from our computers. After lengthy discussions with the testing company in previous years, it was determined that there was no other way for me to distribute the test results.)
