Our requirements for Elementary school
Bible, English (ex. Reading, Spelling, Grammar, Literature, Writing), Math, Science, History, Physical Education (Minimum of 120 minutes per week).
Students in grade 4 are required to take the California Achievement Test (CAT) at the teacher’s expense. Results must be turned in to the School Administrator no later than April 1, 2014.
New students in grade three and above must test their first year of enrollment with HCS.

You have two options:
- California Achievement Test. Online test with immediate results. Grades 2 – 12. Cost is $25.00 (as of 4-27-2011).
- California Achievement Test. Paper test with mailed results. Grades 2 – 12. Cost is $25.00 (as of 4-27-2011).
Graduation – Kindergarten
Kindergarten graduation takes place in May of each school year on the same day as the High School graduation. Graduation fees, $85.00, are due at the end of the first semester. Parents and students are required to participate in the planning of the event. Planning will start after the 2nd Quarter Grade Day.
K – 1st Grade, Letter Grade
2nd – 5th Grade, Number Grade
A = 90 – 100
B = 80 – 89
C = 70 – 79
D = 60 – 69
Fail = 59 and below
