Homeschooling the High School Years Workshop
Planning for PSEO
Whether you intend to apply for PSEO during high school or apply to college after high school, you will need to navigate the college application process. This workshop will cover both. Beginning with a timeline for college-bound students, we will talk about the PSEO option, college entrance exams, and the college admissions process.
Topics include:
• The College-Bound Student Timeline
• PSEO
o Options for types of PSEO classes
o Steps to take to get into a PSEO program
o Deciding what classes/how many classes to take
o AA degrees and MnTC
o Information on area colleges that offer PSEO
• College Testing (ACT and SAT)
Kim Witthuhn works as a professional editor and has taught classes at various homeschool organizations over the last 15 years, in addition to homeschooling her own children. She owns her own tutoring and homeschool consulting business and loves to help homeschooling families thrive and is also a certified career consultant who enjoys helping people discover the unique design God gave them. Kim graduated from Concordia University with a BA in English and Social Science Education. She lives in Eden Prairie with her husband and two of her four children and enjoys leading Bible studies, reading and learning, and spending time with family.
