Additional Information

The Stanford 10 Achievement Test (SAT 10) is a nationally recognized standardized test used by educators across the United States. As a norm referenced test, the Stanford 10 not only offers parents information on their student’s achievement, it also provides comparisons based on nationwide test results. Standardized testing is just one of many tools that good educators use to evaluate each student’s needs and to prepare them for the demands of the adult world.

A significant advantage of testing within this arrangement is that testing takes place in a group setting. It is a fill in the bubble format which allows younger children to gain experience necessary to do well on the ACT and SAT later in high school when they are applying for college scholarships.

Grades 4-12: Each level of the test is broken into subtests or strands covering various subjects such as reading comprehension, mathematics problem-solving, language, spelling, listening comprehension, science, and social science.

* Parents will receive a complete test analysis which only they see.

The Stanford Achievement Test is not to be confused with the SAT college admission test published by the College Board in the United States.

Ann Miller will be the Main Test and Site Administrator. Questions: wingsatgrace@gmail.com

To register:

** Please note** we are only offering grades 4-12 this year due to the number of Proctors we have.

Step 1: Sign up to "Save your seat". Sign up is on May 20 but this is a two day test. You MUST be in attendance to test both days, May 20 and 21.

Step 2: Order your test by April 17, 2019

  • Call Bob Jones University (BJU) at 1-800-845-5731 to order your actual Stanford SAT-10 test grades 4-12 ($25).
  • You MUST use Ann Miller's Test Administrator ID# 76594320 to ensure that your Stanford test materials are sent to her address for use in our group session.
  • You will pay BJU directly.
  • BJU will send you an email asking you to verify that you are a home school. Your order will not be processed until you respond to that email (BJU requires this to protect them from distributing Stanford tests to non-home schooled students).
  • BJU will notify Ann of your test order and ship directly to her your student's test and bubble sheet since she is responsible for managing these items.
  • Once the test is completed on May 21, the proctors will turn the test materials in to Ann and she will ship them back to BJU to be scored.
  • You will receive an email from BJU when your student's score is available, (about four weeks later), and you will be able to access your student's test scores via their website whenever you need it for years to come!
  • Please note that BJU raises the cost of the test once we are within 4 weeks of the testing date and we cannot guarantee Ann will receive it in time, so please plan to complete this entire process before Wednesday, April 17
  • You may find the BJU product, "Better Test Scores" useful in preparing your student(s) in grades 4-8. A BJU representative will inform you of this option while you are on the phone ordering your test.
  • You will receive updated information as the test day draws near.

In order for the test to be facilitated, we need Proctors (SAT 10 Test Administrators). If you are currently a SAT 10 Test Administrator or are interested in helping on the test days, please let Ann Miller know (wingsatgrace@gmail.com). If you are interested in becoming a Proctor for the SAT 10 test, here is all you need to do:

  • Go to Bob Jones website
  • Create an account or sign in
  • Complete an easy online application that is listed under "Become a Test Administrator"
  • Have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
  • View the BJU Press Stanford 10 Administrator Training Video
