How to Take the Stress Out of Test Taking
Does your child have test anxiety? Come learn how your child can gain confidence in the testing process whether he is taking a math test or the ACT. A variety of techniques will be discussed. Feel free to bring your children so they can learn as well.
Presented by Tammy Feigal, Neurodevelopmental Therapist. Tammy has been home educating since 1989. She has four children, each with different gifts and challenges. Her bachelor’s degree is in education. Twenty-two years ago she began researching alternatives for solving her first-born’s learning challenges. Seventeen years ago, her graduate level study led her to become a neuro-developmental therapist. In her practice, she employs many modalities of therapy to help resolve a variety of challenges.
The over-riding purpose of neuro-developmental therapy is to help the client develop beyond current neurological patterns into more effective neural pathways, thus aiding someone to respond positively, rather than react or freeze up, to external stressors or internal stressors.
As we develop new patterns, we add the neurological pathways to keep moving for a lifetime towards the truest expression of each person’s original design by God.
