Instructors

Mrs. Heather Braden

Homeschooling since January 2018, I have 3 children in pre-k through higher level elementary learning. I have a BSN from UofL and have been an RN since 2007. I currently work at an ambulatory care ER in Shepherdsville. My heart is to perpetuate a culture that celebrates learning differences while educating the next generation to be successful, Kingdom-minded, Godly individuals.

Mrs. Misti Eisenback

We have been homeschooling our four children for eight years.  I have attended this co-op for about four years and have been in some form of leadership for 2 years.  When we are not homeschooling, my family and I enjoy working on our small "farm," where we have goats, chickens, bee hives, and a large garden.  We love coming to and being a part of this wonderful co-op family God has blessed us with!

Mrs. Alicia Geary

My husband and I have four children: Tyler, Emily, Jacob, and Caleb.  We live in Shepherdsville and have homeschooled for eleven years.  We use a variety of curriculum based on our needs at the time.  Our oldest son is graduating this year, so we're excited to see where he's headed.  I hope to meet you and your children soon!  Feel free to e-mail me with questions.

Mrs. Jeni LaVon

My name is Jeni LaVon. My husband Daniel and I are blessed with six kids ages tween to infant. I have been homeschooling for seven years using Sonlight curriculum. Our favorite part of school is when we snuggle up and enjoy good books together that teach academics as well as character. I love that homeschooling allows me to spend time with my children and opportunities to have discussions about things that matter. I also really love seeing their little faces light up when they first learn to read.

Before children, I co-owned a small mural painting business and taught art classes at Sayers Classical Academy. I’m mostly self-taught but I learned a lot from a middle school art teacher who believed in me; and of course Bob Ross.
I’m passionate about teaching kids to overcome the fear of a blank canvas, so to speak, and to more accurately express themselves as unique individuals created in the image of God, through laid-back yet practical art instruction, gentle encouragement and the inspiration of great artists.

We love Seeds of Faith Bullitt County homeschool Co-op more than we ever expected to love a co-op. The kids are really sweet and the leadership team is creative and harmonious. It feels like a really supportive family and I’m happy to be a part of it.

Mrs. Krystal Pound

I am going on my 6th yaer homeschooling my 3 children. I have a degree in Biology from the University of Louisville, along with a minor in Chemistry. I'm semi-fluent in Spanish, and I have tutored up to Calculus II in the Math Lab at U of L. Before children, I worked as a food scientist in research and development and also ran a chemistry lab. I really enjoy the Charlotte Mason method of homeschool. Being in nature is my jam! I also enjoy handicrafts: knitting, sewing, and papercrafts of all forms. But most of all, above all else, I am a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, seeking to follow His lead as I lead my own family to grow in His knowledge and grace.
