What is a Homeschool Cooperative?

A homeschool co-op is a group of families who meet together and work cooperatively to achieve common goals.

The activities and classes that are part of our co-op are led by parents who attend. West Branch Learning Tree homeschool cooperative is NOT a drop-off co-op. We require parental attendance and involvement for all members.

(We do have some guest teachers who teach for us that do not have children participating. We appreciate these teachers very much, but the majority of our schedule is taught by attending parents.)

If you're interested in being on our waitlist for next year you can email us here: info@wbltcoop.org Please specify the ages your children will be for the 2024-25 school year when asking to join the waitlist.

We are a large (200+ students) cooperative and our waitlist is NOT first come, first served. Whether families can be admitted is based on class availability, children's ages, and other factors. We are committed to keeping class sizes manageable.

When you ask to join our waitlist you are added to our email list. We contact waitlist names via email as spaces are available or if we have follow up questions.  

Classes and schedule are subject to change until registration is complete. Because our classes are taught by attending members, the schedule is dependent on member participation.

See our FAQ and / or Handbook to answer many common questions. Please note that we do have a statement of faith all teachers must agree to sign. We are a Christian co-op and expect classes to be taught from a Christian perspective.

The WBLT Board is made up of  homeschool moms who serve on the WBLT board as volunteers. WBLT does not have any full time staff or compensated employees.
