Welcome to the Mohawk Valley chapter of New York State Loving Education at Home (LEAH). New York State LEAH is a state-wide oraganization of support groups, serving home school families from around the state. The Mohawk Valley chapter serves families in the Utica, New Hartford, Sauquoit, Waterville and Clinton areas.
Homeschool New York (LEAH) is a Christian organization, the members of which are like-minded Christian home education support groups made up of families dedicated to observing the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6, and Ephesians 6:4.
We promote home education as the Scriptural design for education, whereas institutional education is alternative to the home.
We believe that every family has the God-given legal and constitutional right to home educate in New York State, regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation.
Homeschool New York is not a church, nor is this organization meant to replace the ministry of the local church to the home educating family.

Paideia Homeschool Co-op
Paideia Homeschool Co-op is a group of like-minded Christian home education families dedicated to observing the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6, and Ephesians 6:4. The word paideia depicts an ancient educational thought process originating with the Greeks. The paideia education philosophy emphasizes forming the whole child, from academics, to friendships, to faith, to community involvement, to self-discipline, to love of nature, and beyond, all with excellence, integrity, and intentionality. As a homeschool co-op, we fully embrace the paideia concept that a well rounded and educated child is one that is wholly formed in all areas of life.
