Testimonials from HERO Members
“I will never forget the sense of community and belonging I felt the moment I walked through the door at HERO. As a parent, you feel incredibly isolated when your child struggles to cope in school, organized sports, or other programs that other kids just naturally flourish In. It Is hard. But at HERO, I felt quietly understood. It was just what I needed as a Mom but MOST importantly- it was exactly what our son needed. He is also in a place where his inquisitive mind and his creative ways are celebrated. He has made friends, he has felt accepted & loved and he has learned that learning really can be fun.”
“There is no better co-op for high quality classes, high school credit courses, friendship building, and all around fun times than HERO.”
“My kids have made some life long friendships in both classes and memory making field trips. They have been able to take high school level art, science and music classes in a wonderful environment.”
“This is from a teen’s perspective of HERO, and in simple words it’s my favorite! I love HERO because I don’t only receive incredible quantities of knowledge but I also get an astonishing over all experience. Sometimes it’s hard for homeschoolers to find friends (especially if they’re as introverted as me) but with HERO, it’s easy! Everyone is kind and inclusive so it’s no problem to fit in.”
“I highly recommend HERO, we tried another co-op and lots of groups after moving here and none compare in regards to the relationships my kids have been able to establish through HERO.”
“This co-op feels like home. We have made friendships here with so many and are so thankful for all of the talents of all of the parents that help bring diversity to learning at the co-op.”
“My nephews go here and my sister and I teach classes. I love teaching art to children and this is a great place to do it. Its honestly better than a traditional school because you don't have to follow a strict outline and can teach kids things they are interested in to keep them engaged.”
“We love HERO. This is been such a wonderful experience for my family.”
“A great place for homeschool children to engage in open ended learning and form relationships.”
