Who We Are
We are Christian homeschooling families from (largely) the Stanwood-Camano area who meet weekly in the fall and winter and provide friendship, fellowship and learning opportunities.
TLC Mission Statement
The Lighthouse Co-op seeks to provide an atmosphere that fosters the love and challenge of learning while promoting character-building Godly values and recognizing individual gifts.
Our mission is to bring glory to Jesus Christ and seek His truth in every aspect of learning.
Interested in Membership?
Please read our Camano Chapel Statement of Faith and Policies before requesting to join. We ask all members to be in agreement with our Statement of Faith and accountable in regards to our policies. By requesting to join, you are indicating that you are in agreement with both documents.
Additionally, every member must complete a background check and watch Ministry Safe videos before attending TLC.
To join TLC, the eldest student attending TLC must be age 6 or older by September 1 of the coming school year.
The annual family registration fee is $50/family, plus $10/child with an $80 family max.
We meet for Fall Term, around mid-September ending before Thanksgiving. For Winter Term, we begin meeting in late January and end the week before the school district's spring break.
We have two new family open enrollment periods -- the months of April and July for the coming school year. TLC coordinators take a break from co-op business for the months of May and June, so you may have a bit of a wait to hear back from TLC administration.
