What is a Homeschool Co-op?
A co-op is a co-operative effort between homeschooling parents to provide classes and opportunities for their children that might be otherwise difficult or too costly to provide at the family level.
Mission of OACHE Co-op
OACHE is directed by a leadership team of Christian homeschoolers called the OACHE Board. All classes will reflect a Christian perspective that honors the Lord. We ask members to volunteer to offer a variety of class choices for our Preschool, elementary, middle and high school students. Our classes are mainly physical activities and enrichment classes. Parents of all students are required to teach once and assist once per school year in the classes.
4-H is an educational program focusing on leadership, citizenship, public speaking and life skills. 4-H is part of The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension and is one of the largest youth development organizations in the world.
OACHE offers a monthly homeschool 4H meeting for Clovers (4th & 5th grades) at the same location of OACHE Co-op. Children get to participate in all 4H events like 4H Mini Booths displayed at the county fair, poultry judging, archery and more.
