Community & Connection

Below is information about our homeschool ministry.

HEG Community & Connection: As a Christian homeschool ministry, we desire to come alongside families through encouragement & support for one another in both our homeschool journey and our relationship with Jesus Christ; knowing that the Lord is our strength & the One who equips us for this calling.

We have a private online member community that offers wonderful ways of connecting families together for support, prayer requests, curriculum inquiries, community events posting & sign-ups, field trip posting & sign-ups, and questions. We even have a National Homeschool Honor Society Chapter available to our members. *Student membership approval is required for the honor society.

During the school year, our community hosts many opportunities for students to get involved academically and socially such as a Social Studies or Science Fair, School Picture Day, Pumpkin Patch Fellowship, Bible Fair, Field Day, and graduation ceremonies for Kindergarten, 8th, and 12th graders.

There are a lot of fun activities for homeschool moms as well, such as Moms Back to School Dessert Night, Moms Christmas Fellowship, and Moms Night Out. There are also many opportunities for parents to exercise their gifts and talents in serving within HEG, not to mention the many friendships and relationships formed here.

We also have a co-op that meets weekly during the school year. On the right, you will find more information about our co-op.
