This class is for dancers who have previously taken ballet and are at the intermediate level. If a student who has previously taken Beginning Ballet at FAF wishes to move up to Intermediate Ballet, she must first have permission from the instructor. Also, new ballet students at FAF who wish to sign up for this class must be evaluated by the instructor. In this class students will advance in their technique and continue to build strength, flexibility, and coordination. Each class will start with a short devotion/prayer time. Dancers should have their hair pulled up and should wear a leotard (with at least a two-inch strap), tights, skirt, and ballet shoes (T-shirts and shorts may be worn over leotard and tights if desired). Students will have the opportunity to perform at the end of the spring semester, and a costume fee ($15-$20) will need to be provided. Jennifer Cardinale is a student at Liberty University and has been studying ballet for fourteen years. Her passion is to glorify God by sharing her faith through the art of dance.
