Used Curriculum Exchange

Once a year NEPHS and OCEANetwork partner to provide the Used Curriculum Exchange (UCE). An annual event held during the Ocean Conference in June at the Oregon Convention Center, it provides homeschooling families an opportunity to buy and sell used books and curriculum. The sale provides a unique and valuable opportunity for homeschool families to save money while updating their curriculum while making no longer needed books and curriculum available for another generation of homeschooled children. Families also have the option to donate their unsold books which are then processed in the Gleaners Sale where every item is available for only a dollar. Once the Gleaners Sale is complete, any remaining books are donated to a local family who sells them in a huge yard sale with all proceeds going directly to Pregnancy Resource Centers.

The Used Curriculum Exchange is a totally volunteer-run operation, and is made successful through the contributions and experience of the members and families involved. Maybe you will volunteer next year and see how fun and rewarding it really is?!

We are very grateful for the volunteers, buyers and sellers all coming together each year to serve the homeschool community. Thank You!
