Stanford Achievement Test Information

What is the Stanford Achievement Test?
The Stanford Achievement Test is a tool used for annual student assessment.  It is similar to the California Achievement Test.  This is NOT the college entrance exam. 

Why take the Stanford Achievement Test at WEST?
Stanford Achievement Testing at WEST is a convenient way for your student to fulfill the requirement of completing an annual standardized test every year.

Being in a formal testing experience gives students the preparation to perform better while in the PSEO/PLAN/ACT/SAT testing setting.

Who can take the Stanford Achievement Test ?
The Standford Achievement Test is available for grades 7-12.

Grades 7 & 8 will test for 3 days.  Grades 9-12 will only test two days.

When is the Stanford Achievement Test offered at WEST?
Testing takes place the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the last week of April at the WEST building in Rogers. 

Make-up testing date available upon request.  The scheduled make- up day is the Thursday of testing week.  

Who is administering the Stanford Achievement Test?

Paula Mitlying is the test administrator.

When can I register my student?
Registration is currently open through March 1st.

What is the cost of the test?
The cost of the test is $75 which covers two or three full days of quality supervised testing covering all academic areas and serves as your annual standardized test.

What do I need to bring on testing day?
2-#2 pencils
Calculator that you are familiar with
Water bottle
Book to read when section of test is completed early

Light, non-messy snack

When does testing begin?
9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Please arrive 5-10 mns early to find a seat and get settled

Where does the testing take place?
At the WEST building - read signs in entry way/front door for direction to room location

Can parents stay and wait while students are testing?
Parents are to drop off student/s and return at the end of testing time as designated by the test adminstrator
