Dear Friends,

We are glad you are interested in home education.

Brookhaven Home Educators (BHE) is a Christian organization designed to offer encouragement, communication, and activities to families that are home educating in our area. A partial listing of what we have provided through the years includes educational meetings for parents, legislative updates on issues pertaining to homeschooling, information on state and local activities, parties, field trips, family game nights, park days and a group discount for membership in the Home School Legal Defense Association.

If you choose to be a member of our organization, the cost is $40.00 per year, which covers your web membership fee and other BHE operating expenses. Please read carefully our Statement of Purpose, Membership Agreement, Code of Conduct, and Waiver of Liability. If your family is in agreement with our rules for membership, please complete the online registration process.

You will be notified when your application has been reviewed and approved. Access to our private web pages will be granted at that point.

Also, please consider becoming a member of the Home School Legal Defense Association. HSLDA works very hard to protect our rights as home educators. A membership discount is available to support group members. Membership in HSLDA is not required, but is recommended. If you are interested in joining HSLDA, visit HSLDA.org.
