Christian Youth Orchestra of Central Texas

This orchestra, under the direction of Mike Fizzell, professional violinist and home school father, is a large ensemble for young musicians. We perform classical orchestral repertoire, American patriotic music and hymns. The group plays regular concerts and uses its music to minister in local area nursing homes. Student must have some prior playing experience and should be taking private lessons.
Concordia Community Music Academy
Professional Music Instruction in an Inspirational Environment:  The Concordia Community Music Academy (CCMA) (www.concordia.edu)  provides instruction in piano, guitar, voice, strings, brass and wind instruments.  We currently offer weekly individual music lessons along with weekly group music theory classes for the 2012-2013 school year.  CCMA also offers a six week summer session to interested students who want the continuity of yearly lessons. Melanie Hebert is a piano teacher in Northwest Austin with several openings in her studio. Lessons are weekly one-on-one, thirty minute sessions for students of any age and skill level.
