HOW TO JOIN

Membership in Eastside Explorers is contingent upon each family's compliance with Arizona law and Board approval.  Only one membership will be granted per family. 

Eastside Explorers only accepts membership applications from families who are homeschooling according to Arizona law.  This does not include families with students enrolled in AZVA, K12, Connections, other public school at home programs or public school enrichment programs such as Eagleridge.  Participating in any program that requires AIMS testing is considered public school and will not be accepted for membership.  Please see the What is Homeschooling link for more information. 

Dues are $35 if your registration is received in June and July, and $45 thereafter. Dues may be paid with your online registration via PayPal.

If you are looking for a homeschool support group co-op and do not live in or near Scottsdale and northeast Phoenix, you are invited to visit  www.afhe.org (Arizona Families for Home Education) for support groups in your area.

Nominal fees will be charged throughout the year for our "main events" and some field trips. Our park days have no additional fees associated with them. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we seek only to cover our costs associated with these events and activities.

If a member requests for membership termination, we are happy to refund the membership fee within 14 days of the date of membership approval. We are unable to issue refunds after that date. A bank fee will be charged for returned checks.
