ARKANSAS HOME SCHOOL FORMS
Below are links to two documents. The first is the 2010-2011 Home School Information Packet which contains several helpful resources including: Notice of Intent to Home School and Home School Waiver forms, facts about home schooling in AR, links to curriculum providers and college correspondence courses, and Arkansas home school laws.
The second link is to just the Intent to Home School and Home School Waiver forms.
Arkansas law requires parents to complete both the intent and waiver forms in order to be a legal home school. In the Notice of Intent to Home School form the first page asks for general information like name, address, and phone number. Page 2 asks for information about the home school curriculum, number of days in the home school term, and the education level of the home school parent. With the Home School Waiver form the parent promises not to hold the State of Arkansas liable for the education of their children.
