HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • The cost of each yearbook is $125. BUT YOU CAN GET IT FOR MUCH LESS - EVEN FREE!
  • Families can REDUCE the cost of their yearbook by selling RECOGNITION ADS.
  • Each RECOGNITION ADS that you sell DIRECTLY REDUCES YOUR COST - DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!
  • Our basic RECOGNITION AD (size of a business card) only cost $25. These ads include both graphics and text.
  • Previously sold for $50 each, they are now PRICED TO EASILY SELL to aunts & uncles, grandmas & grandpas, siblings & cousins, and even neighbors!

 

HOW CAN I SAVE?

  • BRONZE $75 REBATE PACKAGE
    • DEPOSIT $75 - We will reserve THREE $25 ads spaces for you to sell.
    • Sell all THREE ADS to offset your $75 dollar deposit
    • All you need to do is pay the remaining balance of $50 which is your final yearbook cost.
  • SILVER $100 REBATE PACKAGE
    • DEPOSIT $75 - We will reserve THREE $25 ads spaces for you to sell
    • Sell ONE additional $25 ad to increase your rebate to $100
    • Sell all FOUR ADS to offset your $100 dollar deposit
    • All you need to do is pay the remaining balance of $25 which is your final yearbook cost.
  • GOLD $125 REBATE PACKAGE
    • DEPOSIT $75 - We will reserve THREE $25 ads spaces for you to sell
    • Sell TWO additional $25 ads to increase your rebate to $125
    • Sell all FIVE ADS to offset your $125 dollar deposit
    • This means your yearbook is free!*

*Please note that "personalizations" are NOT included in the $125 cost.

This cost will be added to your deposit on the Jostens website.

 

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

  1. Go to the Jostens site and place a deposit of $75 for your yearbook: LINK TO ORDER YEARBOOK
  2. This automatically enrolls you in our BRONZE $75 REBATE PACKAGE and gets you space reserved for 3 business size ads
  3. After placing your $75 deposit, If you wish to upgrade the SILVER $100 REBATE PACKAGE -or- GOLD $125 REBATE PACKAGE simply purchase additional rebates through our website link below.

 

DO YOU HAVE MORE TYPES OF ADS AND AD SIZES?

  • We also offer larger size RECOGNITION ADS so you can sell your REBATE inventory much quicker.
    • 1/4 page costs $65
    • 1/2 page costs $125
    • Full page costs $250
    • Text Booster: 35 characters and spaces per line @ $2 per line
  • We also offer various sized BUSINESS ADS so you can sell your REBATE inventory even faster. Great for non-graduate families too!
    • 1/10 page costs $50
    • 1/4 page costs $100

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A GRADUATE?

All families are welcomed to submit photos of their student(s) for "their class" pages (even graduates who do not wish to have a Feature Page). A special Photo Day is being scheduled in January for those who wish to have a professional photo of their student(s) placed in the yearbook at no cost. YEARBOOK PURCHASE IS NOT REQUIRED. The photographer at that session will offer you photo packages if you wish to purchase more. An email will be sent with more information regarding this day in the very near future.

Get your pictures in the yearbook!

Use School Password "Legacy".

The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of NJHSA and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

Graduate FAQs:

  • Is the yearbook included in the graduation fee?

No, the yearbook project was separated from graduation planning in 2006-2007.

  • Do we have to include our graduate in the book?

No, participation in NJHSA graduation and/or Yearbook are both optional and independent of each other.

  • How do I include my child in the graduate feature section of the book?
  1. Buy a book. Place your order ASAP, as the staff cannot begin to design the book until the number of graduate feature pages needed has been determined. Keep your eyes open for the deadline! Graduates not purchasing books will be limited to a single portrait photo among the underclassmen.
  2. Write a short biography. Submission details will be sent to you.
  3. Choose and submit pictures. NJHSA activities are already covered, so focus on your own family, homeschool experience, church, etc. You will need to submit 6 or more photos, including a “formal portrait” (head/shoulders, simple background). Good options for  the other photos: baby or childhood, family portrait, favorite vacation, field trips, important church event, scouts or other club, sports achievement, etc. Photos need to be in .jpg or .tif format to be uploaded to the Jostens site. You can upload them yourself or send them to a staff member. We can scan your old prints or slides, if needed.
  • Can we design our own section?

No and yes. We design a single template for each book section to give it a professional look. Only by joining the Legacy staff will your student be able to participate in that process. Also, you may purchase space for a recognition advertisement at the back of the book. As long as your final design is in .jpg or .tif format, and of the correct dimensions/resolution, we can drop it right in.

  • How else can we be involved?
  1. Join the staff – with or without your child.
  2. Sell books! Encourage the families of your child’s NJHSA friends to get a book to remember the 2013-2014 year. Buy an extra one for yourself.
  3. Buy and sell ads.
  4. Participate in fundraisers. Candy and water are available on Thursdays at Choir and HOPE offers scrip sales periodically.
  • When do we get the books?

We make every effort to have the books arrive just before graduation, so they are available for autographing at both rehearsal and the reception.
