First Fruits Farm

Due to bad weather, work at the farm has been cancelled today. (9/23/2021)

**A few spots have opened, so there is still time to sign up as of 9/20/2021.*

Join us at First Fruits Farm to harvest vegetables that are shared with local food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and other food providers.  See more about First Fruits Farm here.

All participants before arriving must complete a liability form.  Please click here to complete your form!

Please allow travel time to the farm to arrive by 9am. (20431 Middletown Road, Freeland MD 21053) **Look for the white First Fruits Farm sign at the end of the driveway. Follow the signs to be directed to our Volunteer Parking area and Pavilion.**

Notes:

  • Every participant must complete a signed liability waiver before arriving at the farm (see the group link above).
  • Dress for the weather, expecting to get dirty - no sandals or flip flops!
  • The Farm will provide work gloves, drinking water, and on-the-job training.
  • If you would like to make a donation to the form along with others from our group, please bring your donation to the farm on September 23.  Jennifer Bice is collecting the donation to give to the farm.

Maximum 20 people can attend. Please sign up before September 15.
