Cost: $80.00 per student payable to Cindi Myers at first class.
Are you a natural-born storyteller? Do you enjoy creative writing? Or would you like to learn how to write a story? Or polish a story that you have been working on? If you answered yes to any or all these questions, then this summer class is for you. I will walk students through what makes a story stand out, how to create a compelling scene, what are industry standards for fiction stories, and other key details of writing a fiction story. We will interview a character or two and talk about emotions in writing. There will be creative writing assignments. Fun discussions. Group challenges. And in the process, we will talk about all the major aspects of creating a story that others will want to read.
