PLEASE REMEMBER THAT OUR KICKOFF SUPER SATURDAY WILL BE THIS SATURDAY, JULY 27TH, 9-1:30 AT RIDGECREST BAPTIST CHURCH IN MADISON. THIS IS A NEW LOCATION. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
If your CHEC membership is CURRENT, you may enter through the EXPRESS LINE.
100 FREE ocean cookie cutter sample packs from My Father's World are available at the entrance until they are gone.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BOXTOPS!
The schedule for the day will be on our website very soon! Please remember that we will have teen sessions; elementary, junior high, and high school parent sessions; new to homeschooling sessions; small group meetings; a keynote inspirational speaker; a technology demonstration hands-on zone; colleges and university recruitment tables, and much more.
A few parents new to our kickoff have asked if there is anything for our younger children. While we do have breakout sessions, club tables, and college/university recruitment tables for our older students; there are NOT programs or sessions for the younger children yet. That may be something to look at adding at another time. If you need to bring your younger elementary child with you, they just need to stay with you at all times and may need to be seated on the floor near you during crowded parent information sessions etc. Like at prior kickoff events, parents are encouraged not to bring younger children unless absolutely necessary; this will allow parents to benefit more from the information sessions and vendor tables.
Lunch from Slim Chickens will be available for purchase ($5 or $7 cash or card)
