Strawberry Hill IS a drive but it offers the neatest programs!  Strawberry Hill’s Maple Sugaring Program introduces the process of making maple syrup, from tap to table. Students will learn the history of maple sugaring in Pennsylvania, how to identify the characteristics that distinguish different types of maple trees, how to tap, and the supplies required to process sap into maple syrup. We will also participate in a taste test of various syrups, with silver dollar pancakes, to see if we can tell the difference between the real deal and the artificially flavored. Please dress warmly!

Current Covid restrictions: masks are required while indoors but may be removed while outside.
