Are you new to home schooling and want fellowship, reassurance and encouragement? Have you been home schooling a while and want to mentor a new home schooler, find new ideas or just come to get revived with other Christian home schoolers? Then Smoothing the Way is the group for you! We will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (August – May) at 10am at FEAST. A syllabus with a Power Point presentation of the 10 topics discussed throughout the year is available in the FEAST bookstore for $60.
Smoothing The Way will meet Tuesday, October 8, from 10am - Noon. Our October meeting topic will be “Understanding Your Child:: Learning/ Teaching styles. We will discuss how your child learns and also how you teach. This will help you and your child form a relationship for learning that is pleasing to all. There is no “one size fits all” in home schooling.
