Calling all spellers! The HOPE Spelling Bee is Friday, January 24th at 2:30 PM!
This event is open to all homeschoolers in Prince William county, not just HOPE members. Please share with your friends! Online registration is open to the public.
Register to showcase your spelling and presentation skills in this oral spelling bee. The winner will advance to the PWC regional spelling bee to be held on March 10th in Woodbridge. Because of this, only residents of Prince William County can participate. If you would like to participate but live in Fairfax County, please contact FISHE for possible bee information.

The speller must not have reached his/her 15th birthday on or before August 31, 2019 nor have passed beyond the eighth grade on or before August 31, 2019. There is no minimum age requirement, however ALL spellers will compete in one group. There are no specific grade level rounds.
Sign-up through the HOPE calendar. Registration Deadline is Tuesday, January 21, 2019.
The 2019 School Spelling Bee Study List will be sent as a link when you register. Download it and use it to study and practice before the bee!
Parents, we want this to be a positive experience, and we are excited to present this opportunity for our students to challenge themselves! Words start easy and from the study list so that all students have the opportunity to participate in several rounds.
