The National Geographic School Bee for students in grades four through eight. This exciting and challenging competition consists of a preliminary (if necessary), final, and championship round where our winner will be awarded an opportunity to advance to the State GeoBee. Our homeschool champion will take a qualifying test and as many as 100 of the highest-scoring students in the state of Virginia will be invited to participate in the State Bee.  

Our winner will take a state qualifying test before February 7, 2020. The top 100 of the highest-scoring students in the state of Virginia will be invited to participate in the State Bee on March 27, 2020. 

Students must be in grades four through eight and must not have reached their 15th birthday on or before September 1, 2019.  A student can participate in the GeoBee for no more than five years total.
