Self-guided tour of the USS Midway. Stay up to closing time of 5pm. Please observe CFS Poway field trip guidelines (fees are non-refundable) and the code of conduct of the USS Midway below. It is recommended you bring minium amount of items on board as you will go through tight spaces.
Date: Tuesday Feb. 11, 2020
Time: Meet at 10:15am and enter at 10:30am
Price: Adults $10.25, Students (age 6+) $6.25, free for age 5 and under. We need a minium of 10 students to make this field trip possible!
(FREE – Active Duty Military (w/valid ID), Active Law Enforcement (w/valid ID), Active Fire Fighter (w/valid ID) and including Reservist.) You will enter with the general public, separately from the group.
Parking: rates are generally between $10 – $20 subject to change at the discretion of Ace Parking and the Port of San Diego. Parking rates generally increase for special events and holidays. Metered parking is available on city streets adjacent to the USS Midway Museum. Please read all signs carefully to best understand the required timing and rates of each space. Front-row handicapped parking spaces located in the Navy Pier parking lot are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Code of conduct for the USS Midway:
In order to provide a quality experience for both you and our general public guests please review the following Code of Conduct with the students you chaperone.
- STUDENTS NEED TO STAY WITH THEIR CHAPERONES AT ALL TIMES.
- Chaperones are responsible for the behavior of the students in their group.
- Please walk at all times.
- For Self-Guided and Student Audio Tour Groups please be aware there are no places to store/eat packed lunches on board. There are park areas close by.
- Please remember that you are visiting a historic museum. Be respectful of Midway property and maintain appropriate behavior at all times.
