Our special speaker is Family Education for Christ alumni member Jill Dixon.

Jill J. Dixon is a homeschooling mother of four. Three of her children are now college graduates. She homeschooled for twenty-seven years and has taught and evaluated very many children over a thirty-nine year period. Her teaching experience includes ten years in public school and several years in private school education, including the teaching of the learning disabled and emotionally, physically and mentally handicapped. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in English Education [summa cum laude] and a Master's of Education degree in Special Education [magna cum laude]. She is the published author of numerous titles including educational guides, diagnostic tests, a learning styles assessment, a college and career guide, and bestselling vocabulary, writing, and literature curricula.

Jill founded Jill Dixon's Eclectic Academy of Learning in 1997 for students in her home town, and she has spent the last twenty-four years teaching and refining the curriculum so that it can be utilized both locally and globally by homeschoolers in other locales. The local academies have served approximately 400 students in grades K-12. Jill also conducts workshops, speaks at homeschool conferences, contributes articles to homeschooling publications, and is a consultant for Homeschool Legal Defense Association.

We look forward to seeing you for an evening of fellowship, encouragement and motivation!
