Q:

Do you do this as a business?

A:

No. My goal is to break even and not lose money. I plan trips that have a benefit of doing as a group. The trips either offer a group discount or need a min number. I spend countless hours planning, scheduling, and doing record keeping for these trips. This year I have been blessed to have Rachel Poe helping with the trips.

Q:

What form of payment do you accept?

A:

We only accept Paypal.

Q:

Why do you not accept cash or check?

A:

After doing trips for six years, I found the best way to keep up with everything is to only accept PayPal. When I used to accept cash and checks, the money would either go into my pocket or get laid down and be misplaced. Also, it got old making lots of trips to the bank. Paypal gives me a written record of who has paid. I have found this is the only way for me to stay sane.

Q:

Why do you charge to be part of the group?

A:

I have to pay a yearly fee per family to use the site. The fee I charge helps cover this expense.

Q:

Why did another parent say something to my child about his/her behavior?

A:

I expect the children on our trips to behave. I expect parents with babies or toddlers to take them out of  the program if they become a distraction. On our field trips, all parents are considered chaperones and should remind children to pay attention, keep hands to self, etc. If you don't want someone else correcting your child, make sure you are doing it yourself when necessary.
