CHEMinistry -- A home school support group with good chemistry!
Whether you are considering home schooling or have been home educating for several years, CHEMinistry has a lot to offer. These public pages will give you a glimpse of the many benefits and opportunities provided by CHEMinistry for its members. Academic and sports programs for kids, encouragement and mentoring for moms, an array of special events for families, and our comprehensive private web site are some examples of how our Midland-based home schooling support group helps its members train their children to be godly Christians.
What or who is CHEMinistry?
We are the Christian Home Educators of Midland Ministry, Inc. We are a Midland-based, Christian, nonprofit home school support group that serves over 170 families in Mid-Michigan.

Membership Renewal for 2020-2021 School Year
Membership Renewal for 2020-2021 School Year
Renewal time is here! Your old membership expires on July 1st, 2020, so in order to keep receiving the weekly emails and updates on exciting summer opportunities, you should submit your payment as soon as possible.
To renew your membership:
1. Go to the website but DON'T sign in.
2. Look for the blue button that says "Renew Membership" and click it.
3. It will take you to the page with our Statement of Faith on it. Please read this and click the blue box below to show that you have read it and understand that it is the Statement of Faith for the CHEMinistry group.
4. Upon clicking the blue box, you will be redirected to another page that will have a PayPal button on it. Click the PayPal button and you will be taken to PayPal. The membership dues are $20 and this button will automatically take you to PayPal and put in the correct membership amount. Once you have paid, the next time you sign onto the website, you will see a screen asking you to look over your account details and make any corrections.
Note: Please DO NOT go directly to the PayPal site and send $20 to CHEMinistry. We realize that it can be done that way, but it causes complications. We need everyone to use the PayPal button that is embedded in our website. Going through the four steps above not only tells us that you have read the Statement of Faith but the money and the name attached to that money comes to our Membership Coordinator in a consistent manner. Our Membership Coordinator already has to process over 175 memberships each year. Let's try to make her job easy.
2021 Mid-Michigan Homeschool Graduation
The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unexpected impact on graduation and the way we normally handle meeting. As such, the information on this page is subject to change. Please pay attention to emails and social media posts for the latest information.
Date: June 5th, 2021
Location: Sunrise Baptist Church
First Meeting: The September meeting will be postponed until Tuesday, October 6th @ 6:30pm. (Location TBA)
If you are interested in participating in the 2021 homeschool graduation ceremony, please follow the instructions below:
Juniors, email your name, your email address, your parent’s names, their email addresses and phone numbers, to Tanya Hayes at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will also need to indicate whether or not your family can volunteer to coordinate the Graduation Reception. The Coordinator receives a detailed report on what needs to be done and all the other Junior families will help so it's not an onerous task.
A coordinator will be chosen in October. Tanya will then contact the junior reception coordinator and the other junior families to set up the reception committee. Everything is very well organized and will be fully explained in October :)
Juniors will need to attend a mandatory planning meeting in April and be available the night before the graduation to set up the reception.
Seniors, email your name, your email address, your parent’s names, their email addresses and phone numbers to Tanya Hayes at email@example.com.
Be thinking of which volunteer position(s) you would like to volunteer for.
All other information will be discussed at the meeting!
