HSFC offers opportunities in academics, field trips, Lego clubs, book clubs, mission and community outreach, and monthly meetings to encourage and build friendships for the whole family.

HSFC offers family opportunities such as our field day, Back-To-School picnics, Father Daughter Dance, middle and high school activities, preschool and elementary park days and activities, dads game nights and moms morning out, Christmas Family dinner, Science and Geography fairs, Used Curriculum Sale, just to name a few.

HSFC offers encouragement and training with our Homeschool 101, High School Symposium and Special Needs Assessments and Testing.

OUR FAMILIES
Within our group, we have families that have home schooled for many years and those that are just beginning. We are a diverse group with many ages, races, family sizes, curriculum, learning styles, interests and abilities represented. We have preschoolers through high schoolers, gifted and learning challenged.

EASTER EGG HUNT and PICNIC

(playground all the way to the back by soccer fields)

What to bring:
• Picnic lunch for your family.

• 1 dozen plastic eggs PER PARTICIPATING CHILD filled with some sort of treat for the Easter egg hunt. Treats can include candy, stickers, coins, small toys etc. If it’s going to be a warm day we may want to avoid chocolate!

  • CHECK YOUR EGGS IN AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE....thanks!
  • A bag/basket per child for the Easter egg hunt.
  • Please sign up so that we can plan for the number of children participating in the Easter Egg Hunt.
  • Take ALL NUMBERS OFF your Easter Eggs from previous years ahead of time. Thanks.

HELP NEEDED!!

• Easter Egg Helpers:  Receive Easter Eggs as they arrive and place numbers on eggs.
• Easter Egg Hunt:  We would prefer moms to oversee the task of hiding the eggs this year if possible.

• Entrepreneurs (children/teens only): $5

(for a business in the community)
• Vendors: $20

COME BROWSE AND SHOP
• No Cost to shop unless you purchase
• Make payments directly to the seller

FAMILY POTLUCK PICNIC

END OF THE YEAR FAMILY PICNIC
Saturday, May 18

4:00-8:00pm (Come and go as you please)
Located at the home of Craig and Stephanie Konicki

All families are welcome to join us for our End-of-the-Year Family Picnic on Saturday, May 18 from at 4:00-8:00pm!  Come enjoy the fun and fellowship of other homeschooling families while you eat dinner, play games or simply sit around and chat.  Please feel free to drop in and leave as you wish.

BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. If you know a homeschooling family that is not involved, but would enjoy this family get together, bring them along (remember to sign them up on the database).  If needed, Rain date TBD.

FAMILY POTLUCK DINNER

  • All families, please sign up to bring a 2 LARGE DISHES TO SHARE (Main Dish, Veggie Dish, Potato Dish, Salad or Dessert)No chips needed, they have been donated.

  • All families, please bring (1) 2 LITTER SOFT DRINK, TEA or LEMONADE

  • Already Provided: Chips, Ice, Water, Condiments and paper products will be provided.

  • Remember to bring your lawn chair or blanket and any outside games.
    We have a trampoline, tetherball, swinging tire, soccer, football, volleyball, bocce ball,
    horse shoes and corn hole.
