Who We Are

Christ the King Academy Homeschool Co-op is an educational and social network for Catholic homeschooling families, providing opportunities for parents to come together and share their talents and resources for the mutual benefit of all participants.

Christ the King Academy Homeschool Co-op was started in 2007 and was named St. Bridget’s Co-op at that time. The co-op first met at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, and then met for a year at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Grandview, Missouri, before moving to Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri in autumn of 2014.

Mission Statement

Christ the King Academy Homeschool Co-op seeks to provide a place for joyful Catholic fellowship and academic opportunity with like-minded families as we endeavor to homeschool our children. We are a religious, educational, and social network for Catholic homeschooling families, providing opportunities for parents to come together and share their talents and resources for the mutual benefit of all participants. To that end, we come together to offer group classes and activities in order to supplement and enrich our children’s education. We operate under the guidance of and obedience to the traditions, doctrines, and authority of the Catholic Church.
