Welcome to the...
Lancaster Learning Link
Our purpose is to be an extension of your home school by providing junior and senior high academics that can be difficult to do individually in a home environment. We do this by linking you with instructors who have knowledge, experience, an enthusiasm for teaching, and a dedication to applying their knowledge in a Christian context.
Lancaster Learning Link Open House
Monday, April 20
Schedule of Classes & Teachers during Open House - Click Here
You are invited to come and visit the Lancaster Learning Link at Faith Bible Church on Monday, April 20th. This is an opportunity to learn more about the courses that are offered and to see us in action. Parents are welcome to visit classes while they are in session. Children are welcome to come with parents, but we do ask that your children are able to sit quietly in class and are with you at all times. You will also have the opportunity to visit with teachers as they become available from 12 pm until 6 pm. Curricula for current courses will be on display. We look forward to seeing you there.
Charting your Way through High School
Monday, April 20
3:30-4:30 pm and again 7:30-8:30 pm
Needing more information on how to plan the classes for your student’s high school years in order to make sure that they are ready to graduate and/or enter college? Wondering when is the best time to take the ACT and how to prepare for it? Not quite sure how to determine if a class they are taking is worth a credit/unit on their transcript? Want to learn how you can save over a thousand dollars in college expenses by planning early to meet your child’s foreign language requirements for college graduation while they are still in high school?
If so, plan to attend the workshop “Charting your Way through High School” presented by Colby Lamb and Dee Roth who both homeschooled their three children through high school and assisted them in the college admission’s process.
This free workshop will be held at two different times on Monday, April 20, at Faith Bible Church in Room I in the education wing on the west side of the church. The first session will be 3:30-4:30 pm in conjunction with the Lancaster Learning Link’s Open House. You do not have to attend the Open House to come at this time, and childcare is not provided.
If the afternoon session is not convenient, the same workshop will be presented later in the day from 7:30-8:30 pm. This is open to all homeschooling families, and Jr. High/Sr. High students are welcome to attend with their parents. Again childcare is not provided.

We are excited about beginning our thirteenth year of operation with the 2015-2016 school year and invite you, as junior and senior high students, to join us.
Our purpose is to be an extension of your home school by providing academics that can be difficult to do individually in a home environment. We do this by linking you with instructors who have knowledge, experience, an enthusiasm for teaching, and a dedication to applying their knowledge in a Christian context. We are not an accredited school. While we cannot award credit for high school classes taken, our teachers do provide sufficient academic instruction for your parents, the homeschooling teacher, to award you a credit for each high school class you take. This instruction is provided through seventy-five minute classes attended weekly, and by homework done throughout the week.
The Link is indeed that, a link. We offer you the opportunity to contract with teachers in areas with which you need help, more inexpensively than by hiring a tutor. (Please see our application for information on fees.) When you attend the Link, you actually contract with individual teachers; yet, there are administrative needs that need to be met in order to make the Link day run smoothly. Because of that, all parents must contribute volunteer time to assist in the smooth running of the Link.
It is our desire to continue to have as our foundation for this endeavor the wisdom of our Lord. Please join us as we encourage everyone participating to grow in knowledge, wisdom, and righteousness.
