July 28th— Last day to renew & pay CFS Poway Membership and Co-op facility fee to be able to register for classes on time.
August 3—Teacher priority sign-ups begin for co-op classes
August 4—Privately homeschooling member sign-ups begin for co-op classes
August 5—Publicly homeschooling member sign-ups begin for co-op classes
August 31-- Co-op class fees are due in full. Please use paypal if possible. Outside/student teachers are paid directly, on the 1st day of class.
Sept. 3 -- Mandatory Co-op Orientation meeting
Sept. 10— First Day of Co-op
Nov. 26— No Co-op (Thanksgiving)
Dec. 10— Last day for fall semester before Christmas break
Jan. 7—First day of Spring semester
March 24 -- No Co-op (Easter Break)
May 19 — Last day of Co-op

Have all your children graduated? You are invited to join at the special alumni rate of $10 per year. Homeschooling families who live out of state are welcome to join as well. You will be able to participate on the forums, classifieds, and receive our monthly newsletters. The cost for this is $8 per year.

CFS Poway’s goal is to enhance privately homeschooling families’ abilities to meet their educational goals by providing additional opportunities for students to develop academically, socially, physically and spiritually. A range of services are provided for families who do not participate in a brick & mortar school. These include a year-end Promotion and Graduation Ceremony, School Pictures, Yearbook, Spelling Bee, Field trips, Co-op Classes, and annual Stanford standardized testing.
How to Homeschool Lessons from CHEA
Did you know that CHEA has a series of “How to Homeschool” email lessons? Upon signing up, participants will receive twelve weekly lessons delivered right to their e-mail box. This class was designed to help new homeschoolers get started, and for veteran homeschoolers who would like a refresher course.
