9:00–10:15 AM - DEVELOPING A HIGH SCHOOL PLAN: SAMPLE 4-YEAR PLANS
How do you plan a program for your high school homeschooler? What subjects do you teach and when? How do you evaluate credits? Determine grades for a course? What about the need for a transcript and diploma? This seminar will help you organize your thoughts and begin laying the groundwork for a viable four-year plan.

10:30 AM–11:30 PM - HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT CLINIC AND RECORD KEEPING HELP
Creating a high school transcript is easy yet a vital part of your child’s high school records. We’ll guide you through transcript essentials, evaluation of credit, grading guidelines and scales, and calculation of grade point averages (GPA’s). You’ll receive sample transcripts depicting other formats for you to consider. In addition, you’ll learn about necessary record keeping for high school and how to track your student’s progress through the high school years.

11:30–12:45 - Lunch Provided (Deli Sandwich or Salad, Side Items, Chips and Dessert. Water and Tea provided.)

12:45–1:45 PM - CHARTING YOUR WAY THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL FOR COLLEGE, WORKFORCE, OR MILITARY
Preparing your teens for their post-graduation goals requires advance planning. This seminar provides a time line and checklist to ensure that important items are not overlooked! For parents of college-bound teens, discover tips for the application and financial aid process. For parents of teens headed directly into the workforce, explore job hunting and workplace skills. For parents of teens interested in a military career, learn about the military’s homeschool enlistment policy and tips for applying to the service academies.

2:00–3:00 PM - A PARENT’S GUIDE TO HIGH SCHOOL WRITING - (new added topic this year)
Writing is an essential skill for a high schooler to cultivate but a challenging skill for a parent to teach. What should every parent know about good writing and good coaching? This session will equip you with insider tips and principles that set up you and your teen for writing success.

3:00–3:30 PM - YOU CAN HOMESCHOOL HIGH SCHOOL…IF YOU CAN MAKE IT THROUGH TOMORROW (Q&A Session and Wrap Up)
As a parent homeschooling a teen, you may have your doubts about your ability…and your sanity. Are you weighed down by the seriousness of high school? Is it too hard and no fun? Come for a lighthearted approach to homeschooling the high school years and find out how it can be filled with much hope and help…and joy.

TODD WILSON

EVERY DAD A HOMESCHOOLING DAD!
Thursday, February 7
Room 105
You may not crack open a book, work through a curriculum, or call it school, but it's your job to train your children. Join me as we look at the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of training our children. Now don't worry, I won't make you feel guilty or give you a forty-six-point outline, but I promise to tell it straight and to encourage you in the best job there is - fathering.

Todd is an incredible conference speaker and his messages hit
right at home for our DADS with his humor and direct conversation.
Moms you won’t want to miss this night either!
Mark your calendar and invite your family and friends.
