HSFC offers opportunities in academics, field trips, Lego clubs, book clubs, mission and community outreach, and monthly meetings to encourage and build friendships for the whole family.

HSFC offers family opportunities such as our field day, Back-To-School picnics, Father Daughter Dance, middle and high school activities, preschool and elementary park days and activities, dads game nights and moms morning out, Christmas Family dinner, Science and Geography fairs, Used Curriculum Sale, just to name a few.

HSFC offers encouragement and training with our Homeschool 101, High School Symposium and Special Needs Assessments and Testing.

OUR FAMILIES
Within our group, we have families that have home schooled for many years and those that are just beginning. We are a diverse group with many ages, races, family sizes, curriculum, learning styles, interests and abilities represented. We have preschoolers through high schoolers, gifted and learning challenged.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT & BON FIRE

Cost is $10 per family 
5:30-8:30PM
We will be having a bon fire, cooking hot dogs and making S'mores, glow-in-the-dark kickball with glowsticks, a campfire devotions and more.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
  • Bring a lawn chair
  • REMEMBER! DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN SMORES STICK!
  • Sign up to bring ONE items for dinner around the campfire
WHAT IS PROVIDED
  • Hotdogs for Supper and S'mores fixin's for Friday night will be provided
  • Ice, Water, Condiments and paper products will be provided

SCIENCE FAIR

SCIENCE FAIR 2018: Exploring the World Around Us
  • Feel free to set up your table as an experimental hands on science project!
  • You can demonstrate your project is so many ways -- feel free to "think outside the box" or stay in the traditional representation....JUST HAVE FUN!
6:00-7:30pm - Science Fair
5:00-6:00pm - Registration and Set-up begins
Located at Grove Avenue Baptist Church in the GYM

(Park and Enter at the "Main Entrance" overhang)

REGISTRATION IS OPEN (deadline to sign up is October 26 ): 
Projects can be represented in many different and interesting ways:
  • In a demostration and hands on experiental style. You can demonstrate your experiement in action (no display boards needed :)
  • Scienitific Method (represented however you enjoy, including a display board style)
  • Informational Method (represented however you enjoy, including a display board style)
Participants can be Preschool through High School age or Family projects. 
Sign-up even if you are not sure what you will be doing, you can always go back and edit your registration. There will be no judging this year, simply a year to enjoy the love of learning!

We love TOURIST! Plan now to invite your family and friends.
